About The English Library
The English Library in Villefranche-de-Rouergue is a lending library which has an extensive collection of books available to borrow; we stock a range of genres, a children's section, and a small selection of DVDs.
Our latest news
Christmas Closure
The Library will be open up to and including 22nd December 2026, we will then be closed until 5th January 2027.
V-d-R Children's fête
The Library will be running an activity at the children's fête on Wednesday 30th September, 2026 2pm.

Mince Pie morning
We will be hosting a Christmas celebration in the library on Tuesday 15th December 2026.
Mince Pies and Coffee available
Come and enjoy a pie and pay next year's subs.

Joining the Library
Membership runs from January to December.

As a member of the library you will have access to a wide selection of books and a range of DVDs.
To become a member of the library, simply pop in and introduce yourself to one of our helpful volunteers.

We're in the Social Centre Annex, 20 rue Sergent Bories in Villefranche-de-Rouergue.
Opening times:
We are normally open every Tuesday and Thursday between 10:00 and 12:00, excluding public holidays.
